SASO HCO 40 is a non-ionic surfactant of vegetable origin, derived from hydrogenated castor oil and ethoxylated with approximately 40 moles of ethylene oxide. It appears as a viscous liquid to soft paste with a slightly yellowish color and is widely used for its solubilizing capabilities, particularly for fragrances, essential oils, vitamins (A, B, E, K), and other lipophilic substances.
It complies with European Pharmacopoeia 6.0 standards and is favored in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and industrial formulations for its mildness and compatibility.
